Our March Pilot is Hell. Hell is one of our brothers down south in Mexico. I have talked with him couple times and is a great guy and is working on a great Zombie Tie Pilot. Hell, thanks for taking the time to answer the questions so everyone can get to know you.

“Ready Boss, I hope my writing is correct:”

1- Whats your name and why did you pick your callsign?

Izra “Hell” Guzman, I’m registered on the 501st as Izrahell (A rare combination of Israel + Azrael + Hellboy.) of which I am a great fan, but my legion brothers just call me Hell.

2-How long have you been a part of the JRS, and what is it that sparked your interest in joining?

I’ve been a member of the JRS since 2010, but I wasn’t that active until last year, and the most important reason being the brotherhood, I think this is “THE DETACHMENT” and here you feel like no other place.

3-Of all of the troops that you have done, what would you say is the one that stands out in your mind in meaning the most to you and why?

I’ve been a 501st member since 2007 and I have participated in many memorable troopings, but last year’s CEII has been the most impressive experience as far as troopings go, It was my first trip to Europe and my first Celebration, in that place I totally fell in love with the JRS, getting together with all my detachment brothers was incredible!

4-How has being a part of the 501st/JRS impacted your life?

I think most important is to meet so many amazing people, there´s no other way to do that, and to enjoy the same hobby at the same time all over the world.

5-Outside of trooping and 501st/JRS related stuff, what do you do for a living, and what are some other interests or hobbies that you have?

I´m business man, when I was a kid my father taught me to work hard and I do it every day! (I work 7 days a week) I love to watch movies, listen music, R/C Cars and collect “ALL” the 501st merchandise.

6- Can you give us an idea as to the kind of support you get from friends and family regarding the 501st and all the great things that you have done for the JRS?

My parents and sisters always encourage me to live my dreams and be happy, my children are huge fans too, so I have full support to do what a love.

7-And lastly, is there anything, Star Wars related or not, that people might not know about you that they might be surprised to find out?

When I was 15 years old I quit school to start working on my father business, and I learned English watching movies and listening music! LOL!
