I guess you could do a 3D print, but not sure what your rationale behind it would be. You need to smoothen it completely, prime it paint it to a perfect paintkjob for basically 2 pieces which you can fairly easily pick up from most makers. I have fans in my chestbox, but never tried putting ice or anything in there. The fans in the chestbox works well for me, I tried with the fans in the bucket, but the constant buzz of the fans drove me loopy.

I can't tell if it's lighting or damaged, but it looks quite ok. Might require some work to get it fully approvable. But the basic shape is there.
