Re: Latex Rubber Shoulder Straps for TIE ArmorI
Kai was good enough to send several of his sets with the masters and molds so I have them on hand.

Re: Latex Rubber Shoulder Straps for TIE ArmorI
Kai is speaking of me. The Targworx will be offering the rubberized shoulder straps as part of the FULL MONTY Flight Armor. I've purchased his molds and will begin production as soon as possible. Watch my posts in the For Sale / Trade threads.

Re: A question about the Original Stormtrooper armor/chestbo
The SDS chestbox is indeed detachable. They use a simple velcro pad to keep the box firmly attached to the armor, and it's a simple matter of cutting a square in the back of the box to insert some fans in. I myself have two fans and a small lighting rig in the box (though sadly the lighting rig mea...

Re: Shoulder Straps
As I am only using MyLaw4u's rubberized straps I have a couple of sets of plastic laying around. PM me and I'll see what I can do.
Re: DL MIA?
The only choice anyone has is to get busy and build your own vac machine, find plastic suppliers and sculpt your own molds. BT is still working there in Europe. Over seas shipping costs have increased dramatically. For example, a full set of armor sent from Illinois USA to Poland was $70.95. So rig...

That depends on the paint used. If automotive laquers were used, Blue Coral would be good. Other than that a buffing with turtle wax should work.

Re: My, getting this armor together, thread
You can tell that they have the mesh by looking underneath. The whole Idea was to eliminate the need for elastic between the armor and the ABS straps which can break under stress.

Re: Armor case
The wind sucked the top open then the whole thing got torn out luckily (if this is luck) is none of my gear was in it. It was kinda bizarre watching it blow out in my rear view mirror. So I won't be getting another bin for back there any time soon. I think I'll go for a tronndeau top.

Re: Armor case
Unfortunately, during a high wind day a huge truck passed me at just the right moment and sucked my bin, bungies and all, right out of my bed, hit the road, then got vaped by the road and into the ditch. Luckily no cars were behind me.

Re: My, getting this armor together, thread
You might want to sand the ledge flat or even with a 120 or finer grit sanding sponge. Just be careful not to mar the exterior.
Re: DL MIA?
I'll call him later today (Sunday).
