Re: looking for the rubber shoulder straps
im going to necro this topic because its relevant to me now. I had a supplier here who provided our own in house latex shoulderstaps. He flew the coop and left the club and is non responsive to requests to provide more. Is there a vendor that is making a rubber/ latex/ flexible TPU shoulderstrap?

Re: Too Short to Be A TIE Pilot?
Also, there is a case to be made for 181st Pilots who do not wear traditional armor, they have a grey flak vest and a chestbox over that. In your research you may find it may be more suitable for you? It would be something to consider.

Re: Too Short to Be A TIE Pilot?
Armor is a choice, and you can be approved as a Reserve Pilot without the armor, as long as the flightsuit fits. We have several Black Widows who are shorter in stature, and troop just as much as other Pilots. We have an approved Scout in my Garrison that is under five feet, and she has Pilot gear a...

Re: Armor trimming tutorials?
check with your GML first. I have it on mine for comfort, but some GMLs will say no. I use body edge stuff on a big roll I found at the parts store. I give it extra glue (BARGE or E6000 cement) to help it stay on.

Re: Armor trimming tutorials?
look at the inside of the armor. you can generally tell where the armor part stops, and the bukl of the waste material starts. it will generally get lumpy and poorly defined at that point. i mark this line with a silver sharpie, and using either my dremely with a cutting disk, or heavy shears, i sta...

Re: Armor trimming tutorials?

I have always practiced Scribe and Snap, and there are hundreds of model buildign tutorials and videos posted to the web in forums all over. its a simple process of making two very light cuts exactly where you want the break line to be, and ma...

Re: A question about the Original Stormtrooper armor/chestbo
to properly answer your question we need to know which helmet you have. Rubies helmets and those cast from it have very small hose holes since they were never intended to be worn , only displayed. the fan made helmets tend to have holes big enough to accommodate the standard 1.25" hose we use, which...
