Found references are noted which snaps into the side straps.
Do you recommend the Snaps or definitively Velcro?

Re: Side Straps with Snaps
we use velcro, hidden on the inside.
*note*
this is PRE PRODUCTION armor, not seen on screen, so the snaps cannot be used as a reference.
the evidence of pre production is the rings on top of the armor box and the three white rectangles on the rocker, which were never seen, and not seen on the MOM tour costumes. Also the helmet has the lower cone knobs which I disproved with the bluerays existed on the screen used costumes.
So, while it shows one thing, we have to take it for what it is.....not seen on screen.

Re: Side Straps with Snaps
On my back armour plate I have the strap attached with a snap (the snap is secured to a separate piece of plastic glued to the inside of the armour, so the snap isn't seen from the outside), but on the front it's attached with Velcro.
I find the rear snap allows for a nice secure, yet removable attachment point, while the Velcro on the front makes it easy to adjust when I'm gearing up and have my bucket on.
Hope that makes sense!
