Chicago screws?

Post by vaderswingman »

How has everyone mounted their octagons? I'm assuming with Chicago screws. If so what is the correct size screws to use and where is a good source to get them. Thanks for any help!

head to your local mom and pop hardware store, and look for the "blue bins" or "hilman bins". Small stores have these, but the big stores tend to have a wide variety of stuff that makes NO sense....

anyhoo....get a chicago screw that will pass all the way through the armor, octagon, strap and any padding/velcro you have on any of the pieces.

they tend to be the same diameter, and a 1/2" unit should be more than enough.
