Polishing ABS armor

Post by WVTrooper »

I have reached out to a few folks in my garrison but wanted to see what other folks recommended. I have a mon cal ABS armor kit. I'm getting ready for assembly but want to go ahead and get it polished up first so it will closer match my painted bucket and chest box.

It was recommenned to me to use the Novus polish.

Any advice is welcomed as I am doing this this weekend.

I suggest novus for sure. I used it once and it returned my armor to what it originally came looking like, very good stuff

Novus all the way!

I also use Turtle Wax F21 which really gives it a almost wet look, but that might be a bit of overkill, the Novus does a great job on its own.

Also Novus fan, but if it isn't heavily scratched you probably don't need to start with #3 Novus.

And once it's nice and shiny, for a quick shine I use something called "Bike Lust" which is a polish for my bicycle. Works on painted or plastic surfaces.

I agree with DymnDog, use like Level 1 for general polishing, 2 for scratches (what I used after one year of no novis), 3 is for the heavy duty scratches
