i have always used rubber car door trim from walart, but the REAL stuff is U channel. I think the MSC catalog online lists it.

Yeah I think Targ might have some of the rubber channel. But I also just use the car door trim. It already has glue, is glossy and looks good.

Re: rubber trim on armor?
Is it allowed to use the rubber trim at the edged of the brust-plate?
i like the look and would use it.
But if it is not 501 conform then i have to leave it.
I found nothing about it.

Ultimately, if you have any questions, ask your GML. They are the ones who will approve or not.

I've found that after quite a few troops with my armour and no rubber trim, my flight suit has definite wear marks. I'm going to be adding it to my armour soon.

I've had trim on my kit since I built it. It adds a nice complete look to it as well as hiding any wonky trim lines. I just used door trim available at any auto supply store

Also the trim on tk's is a Rotj requirement hence the black lipstick on that bucket you pictured

Re: rubber trim on armor?
Hello ...
I have a doubt.
Can I add black rubber bands as protection of armor ? My armor is of resin and is broken and deformed rather easily especially with the heat. If I put these rubber bands I avoid not deform or break . In other detachments , such as Storm Troopers carry the same rubber protective in helmets .
I've seen pictures that some pilots take them especially in the neck. Is allowed?
In the CRL says nothing about it.

Re: rubber trim on armor?
This was discussed a few years back can't remember where the thread was but looking on the blu-ray screen caps trim was noticed on the collar front and back armor pieces and the CRL was never adjusted to reflect it
I don't deal in maybes I only deal in absolutes ( kills that is )

Re: rubber trim on armor?
Same here. My flightsuit is actually worn to a light gray where the bottom of my chest armor rubs on it so I bought door edge trim from Wal-Mart.Sheriff wrote:I've found that after quite a few troops with my armour and no rubber trim, my flight suit has definite wear marks.
