Shoulder Straps
Can anyone point me to and active vendors where I can get a set of shoulder straps quickly? I think I may have warped mine trying to stretch them to size with a heat gun. I tried contacting Kai for some rubber straps but no response. Or maybe even TK straps that could be painted?

Re: Shoulder Straps
I missed that in the first part
If you have tried putting it back into shape, if that didn't work try Tambo or Moncal

Re: Shoulder Straps
As I am only using MyLaw4u's rubberized straps I have a couple of sets of plastic laying around. PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I still have my MonCal plastic ones as I use the rubber ones too. They rock, highly recommend getting them.

Re: Shoulder Straps
Just on the rubber straps you guys have. I have them also now, as the plastic ones gave way after a year.
Mine are very dull, and look powdery, as I'm in the tropics of Darwin Australia, where the heat is set at ludicrous
Is there something to wipe onto them?

I was told if you use something like an Armor All or some type of Tire Wet Look product, they should be nice. The same as for the hoses.

Yep. The rubber is naturally matte because that's the way rubber is unless you work at it, same as car tires. The ones in the showroom look nice because they've been cleaned up. If you don't maintain them they revert to their natural dullness.Shrek wrote:I was told if you use something like an Armor All or some type of Tire Wet Look product, they should be nice. That said, go to the auto parts store and get a spray bottle of Armor All and another one of their tire shine product. Use the normal Armor All (I use the high-gloss variety) on the plastic parts and the tire shine product on the hoses and straps. Take a bit of work but it is definitely worth it!

Re: Shoulder Straps
I sprayed my rubber straps with plasti-dip several coats till i was satisfied since the pores soaks it up they stay shiny but you can still use tire shine if you want
I don't deal in maybes I only deal in absolutes ( kills that is )
