I am working on making my own shoulder straps since the ones I have purchased are not quite what I was looking for. I realize that this is the wrong color, but 1) white was the only filament in stock, 2) it could be painted, and 3) it is going to be used to make a mold for black urethane rubber straps so the color at this point doesn't matter. Other than it needs some surface finish work, any comments?
After re-reading the CRL, it specifically states "The shoulder straps are not load bearing." Has anyone had any issues getting approved with load bearing flexible straps?
