Looking for advice: Which Kit

Post by Thubin »

Hey everyone, I am close to buying a TIE suit as my first armored costume and I've narrowed it down to three sources; WTF, Radu, and Jason Hill. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these folks and what they're like.

I'm specifically interested in these because:
I'm a larger guy (~50" chest) and I've heard they're all good for a larger trooper
I'd prefer assembled since I live in an apartment and they all offer that option
Radu and Jason (I've been told) have very solid, thick plastic.

Any thoughts, personal experiences, advice, etc would be awesome, thanks!!

I got my WTF kit last week, good thick plastic. Feels sturdy and looks really good. I however did not get it assembled so I'm not sure how that works for their kit. Message them on Facebook and they will give you info. Their customer service is great.

I've seen several WTF kits, and the chest armor always strikes me as small. I have a 46 chest and my Mon Cal armor is much larger and fits very nice.
