RS Prop masters TIE Pilot Armour and Chest box

Post by Jailbreak »

Hi everyone!

I'm a mad Aussie whose trying to get a TIE pilot costume up and running, and the armour options down in this part of the world is pretty limited, which means we have to look OS. I've been looking at the RS Prop Masters Chest box and Armour kit (http://www.rspropmasters.com/product/ti ... chest-box/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and seeing as I'm fairly limited in my knowledge of buying armour, is this a good option?

All advice is happily accepted!

CodeGray, where are you based?

There are a lot of TIE in various places in Aus

It may also pay to see what others have, what you like and where to get it

I have a WTF kit to make, for instance

I'm in Vic, and yeah I need the helmet too! Pretty much got nothing and working from the ground up. What is a WTF kit? Never heard of that one before. I'm happy to be pointed in the direction of local gear that can be sourced and nose my way around

RS
WTF
Dan Laws
Intergalactic Supply
Tambo
Jawa Chop Shop
Radu Placinski

All great vendors.

Of course I'm partial to IGS because I am the owner. But , RS is my favorite Prop maker hands down.

Hi
I've caught up with one of the Victorian pilots and asked him to look out for you and give you a hand with getting sorted

He has an ANH TIE from memory

Are you on their forums?

Paul

Hi CodeGray,
Feel free to PM me if you haven't got in touch with someone in Vic yet. I can add you to the ANZ Flight School Facebook group and get you pointed in the right direction. There are plenty of pilots in Vic happy to help and get you started on the road to the Imperial ranks! :P
