I ordered an arakyel kit... chest piece doesn’t fit

I basically ordered a complete and finished pilot kit from sandprops (arakyel)

I’m super impressed with the smaller version helmet he is offering now.

But anyways. I’m trying to put it all together and I find the the chest armour is too... wide for my body. I’m a girl and I’m small framed and the armour looks as though it’s for someone much broader. I was just wondering what my best course of action is. Is there a guideline on how the chest piece has to sit or how big / small it should be on the body. I don’t know if I’m being pedantic or not.
