so I am currently building my classic tie fighter setup I have a 3d printer and was wondering if the armor piece can be 3d printed and if so where can i find the 3d files I have looked everywhere I know to look and no luck. :TI :TI :TI

I guess you could do a 3D print, but not sure what your rationale behind it would be.

You need to smoothen it completely, prime it paint it to a perfect paintkjob for basically 2 pieces which you can fairly easily pick up from most makers.
If you then want to go for the chestbox or helmet in print that would make more sense to me.

I am not a 3D printer, so never looked for the files, but I guess they should be available somewhere. Just seems like a lot of trouble for little armor in my view. But then again, I have a fully 3D printed FO Tie :) so who am I to try to talk sense into you :)
